1 fence, 2 fence, 3 fence, 4 – Pannells Ash Barn’s boundaries are fenced.
It has been (fortunately) a mild winter hitherto at Pannells Ash Barn which meant, while the cogs creaked round in the background, a rather significant marking of territory was able to be installed – and I’m chuffed to bits with it.
Now when swinging into Pannells Ash Barn, you’re guided in by gorgeous rough chestnut triple rail and post fencing.
Once the fencing leaves the drive area it goes down to a two rail fence. This is looking down towards the south west corner of the property.
It is strange how the fencing makes the property look smaller. Though by day three working with the post hole borer Bob and his team, they might not have agreed with my perspective.
But they finished and shut the gate on the way out…only this isn’t it, as Bob reversed over it.
He assures me the replacement is being built as I blog!!
